Respect & Safety Policy

Happiness

At Naturally Inclined Health, we take all instances of harassment and abuse with the utmost seriousness. If any member of our staff, contractors, associates, or owners is subjected to abusive or violent behavior, it will be addressed swiftly and appropriately.

Naturally Inclined Health supports Alberta's Zero Tolerance approach to harassment and abuse of healthcare workers. Every member of our team has the right to provide care in an environment free from intimidation, harassment, discrimination, violence, and abuse. Mutual respect is essential to providing excellent patient care.

We are committed to creating a warm, welcoming, and respectful environment for patients, visitors, and our team. We understand that illness, pain, and stressful situations can affect emotions, and we strive to approach every interaction with empathy, patience, and professionalism. At the same time, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or violent behaviour toward any member of our team will not be tolerated.

Examples of unacceptable behaviour include:
  • Verbal abuse, insults, or personal attacks

  • Threatening or intimidating behaviour

  • Harassment, discrimination, or sexual harassment

  • Aggressive or violent behaviour, including pushing or shoving

  • Persistent behaviour that disrupts clinic operations or compromises the care of others

  • Theft, property damage, or fraudulent attempts to obtain products or services

We respectfully request that all patients treat our practitioners, staff and visitors with courtesy and respect at all times.

Removal from the Practice List

Removing a patient from the practice is an extremely rare step and is considered only when trust has broken down to the point that a safe and respectful therapeutic relationship can no longer be maintained. In situations involving violence or serious threats, immediate removal from the practice and involvement of law enforcement may be necessary.

We value the trust our patients place in us and are committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment for everyone. Thank you for helping us maintain a clinic where patients, practitioners, and staff can work together with kindness, professionalism, and mutual respect.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
