Janice Watt RMT
A little about the
Janice offers a warm and welcoming environment for her clients creating space for them to ask questions and openly discuss any concerns, ensuring they feel heard. Following the initial intake and interview, each session includes a full assessment, development of a treatment plan addressing the client’s primary concerns and detailed homecare, encouraging the client to continue their progress between treatments.
Trained in a variety of therapeutic massage techniques to treat several common conditions including tension and migraine headaches, postural dysfunction, and overuse injuries, Janice tailors each treatment to her client’s specific needs. Myofascial release, trigger point release, joint mobilizations, and assisted stretches are key components of each massage.
Janice received her 2200-hour Massage Therapy diploma with honors from MH Vicars School of Massage in June 2019 and is a licensed member of the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC). Janice is currently completing her 500 hour Yoga Teacher Training with Modo (formerly Moksha Hot Yoga). She plans to expand her treatments to include Active Release Technique, Myofascial Release, and Cupping in the future.
In her spare time, Janice enjoys spending time with her husband, dog, nephews, and being outdoors, especially at her parent’s log cabin in the woods. She can often be found taking a yoga class at either of the Metta Yoga Edmonton locations, in the garden, or in her kitchen preparing healthy meals.
Janice is excited to join the team at Naturally Inclined Health and to become a trusted partner in the community offering massage therapy services in a clinic founded on the naturopathic principles.
Janice is currently accepting new patients.
